I’m a Billecart Salmon guy myself, but that is five times the price of this Italian Job. Michael Caine himself would be happy to drink this Prosecco - at this price , and it is the price for quality that earns it 5 stars. Compared to a Brilla Prosecco which is still pretty good, the value proposition on the Zonin makes it a beauty at this price point. Drink early and drink often.

The wine is my favourite Prosecco BUT what on earth is going wrong with the corks??? I’ve had about 12 bottles over the last several months where the cork breaks off in the bottle. You should fix this. Returned some of these to Dan Murphy’s and they said they aren’t aware of this. But I read here that others have had the same issue from 2018. Obviously hadn’t been fixed. It’s just a cork. How hard can it be to get that right? Shame, otherwise it would’ve been 5 stars.
