This is a perfectly balanced dry riesling, very different to australian rieslings. For the price its well worth giving it a go! I always have some at hand for a sunny afternoon with cheese or fruit.

Wonderful dry style German Riesling. Great value for money and distinctly different to any Australian Riesling. I really enjoyed this one but do admit there are better examples but at much higher prices.

Could not disagree with 'Thermostats' more. It sounds more like a preference than an objective review... This is a great wine. The amount of residual sugar it does have gives it a good palate weight without being fat or sweet. This is very well balanced by a lively acidity. This is a great value entry level German Riesling.

Very disappointed in this wine! This is the third Dr Loosen Riesling I have tried and it was the least enjoyed. Disappointing nose, and it didn’t have the usual spritz I have become accustomed to with Dr Loosen Riesling. This wine tasted similar to the Pewsey Vale Prima 2010 Riesling, although not quite as sour and rather weak. Difficult to drink! Described as a 'Dry Riesling', however it is a sickly off-dry Riesling and I would much rather drink the sweeter Kabinett style which is well balanced. I would rate this 1/4 of a bottle and I am being generous.
