This is the best red I’ve had all year. It has the perfect blend of smoothness and complexity of flavour. This is the type of wine that makes you savour every sip and immediately top up another glass. It tastes like a more premium price point so if you’re after something special I’d recommend this. I’ll definitely buy it again.

2019 vintage Deep purple with red tinges. Cool climate spicy fruit on nose. Black fruit with hint of pepper. Nicely balanced soft tannins and acid which will carry the wine for years. Great drinking now or will cellar 5 to10 years. This is not the big blockbuster you might expect from the Barossa but more typical of cool climate Grampians style.

After reading the reviews on this wine, I was eager to sample it. Very disappointing in my uneducated opinion. Far better reds for less outlay. Needs a lot more age under its belt.
