Just found a solitary 2009 in the rack and cracked it. Wow! Full flavoured- fruity - smooth. Will be stocking up on the 2012 tomorrow as it runs rings around other recent and more expensive bottles opened.

after trying this wine after looking through the review, I must say that this wine surprised me by its richness in flavour. Even after drinking it, I cant believe that this wine is under $20.

This is my go to red wine under $20. Consistently amazing value, the 2011 is a different wine, they tell me because the vintage was cooler than normal. Its lighter than normal vintages with loads of white pepper not unlike a cool climate shiraz. Still a great drink!!

I'm drinking this as a write on a Sunday night; work tomorrow but the bottle is almost done - rich and full bodied - great value and great drinking. This was in-store tasting (as was the Rioja), thanks to the knowlegible castle hill staff.
