A really smooth drink with or without a mixer. I prefer it with a splash of Pepsi Max.

Fairly simple and smooth on the rocks, but not splendid. Bit of bite. Something to enjoy after you've had a few drinks already. Nothing majorly wrong with it but the flavour profile says mix me, so I did. When mixed with Coke it's a 3.5/5. Not something I'm going to revisit.

...I only use it for a Whisk(e)y Sour. For which it is my only choice. There are a variety of styles of JD Old No 7 - most of which you never see in Oz, just as there are a number of Styles of Woodford Reserve from the same maker, again most of which you never see here. WR technically is a Bourbon unlike GJ and JD, as WR is distilled in Kentucky and has a higher Rye content in the mash, and GJ is distilled in Tennessee. To the extent that it matters. But you will notice that JD and GJ are described as Tennessee Whiskey, and WR as Bourbon Whiskey. And not many people know that.

This is the base sipping bourbon it never changes its reliable and it tastes good
