Never felt the need to mix it with anything. A nice smooth sipper with a honey smelling nose and dried fruit and nutty finish.

At 40% ABV BH lacks the legs of most sipping whiskey, which ultimately leaves it with a lacklustre finish and overall sub par experience. There is nothing offensive about it, but there is just much better out there for not much more. Eagle Rare and WR Double Oak good examples of offering a more interesting experience.

Well l thought l would spoil myself. But my wife said to me the next day do you Realise it was $10 cheaper at Coles of all the places quite pzzz off Thought Dan Murphy would be same price or cheaper. Next time I’ll shop around & maybe Dan won’t. Get my Business .

It's overrated. Not bad as a mixer,but for the price you would be better off buying 2 bottles of standard white label beam.
