Made in the classic Northern Rhone style - co-fermented with viognier. Foot treaded, basket pressed and placed into old French oak to complete its fermentation and mature. Not racked and aged on the lees and this shows with tons of black fruits, cherries, plums and cassis the viognier shines with peach and apricot notes. Spicy and good tannins finish on a long length. Considering a Cote Rotie will set you back $250, at $30.00 it's a great wine to cellar or drink now.

An elegant wine that needs to breath for at least an hour before drinking. We drank the 2016 vintage and it was really dry and tart at first but after 30 minutes it really opened up into a light delicate wine that was really enjoyable.

Depends on the year. 2015 i found more enjoyable than 2016. Smooth and fruity, low on acid.

Love this wine. It's my go-to Shiraz. Highly recommended!

I was surprised when I read some of these reviews to be honest. This wine is classic d'Arenberg style (which I love), great length and if you can hold on to one for a few more years it ages amazingly.
