Shame the Frescobaldi family’s wealth doesn’t extend to simple winery hygiene. Horse stable flavours ruin what was once probably quality fruit. If you want to know what brettanomyces yeast spoilage does to flavour this is a good example.

An absolute Italian favourite from Dan Murphy's! A bit on the pricier end but so smooth and full-flavoured it's worth it. Especially for a nicer dinner. Surprisingly first had it in Rome when asked room service for a nice chianti at the end of a 2019 Italy trip - so thrilled to find it here. Will keep buying it for Italy travel vibes - but also because it is an excellent wine!
