If you’re starting your journey on Single Malts this isn’t a bad option for the price. If you’re already somewhere down the road on the journey this won’t float your boat. The 12 year old is a whole lot better for not much more

It has been said that this will eventually replace the tried and true 12yo Glenlivet. When that day comes Ill no longer be a frequent buyer of this brand. Can not compare at all to the 12yo. Harsh, immature and lacking any depth. If you want to get into single malts as a beginner, get a bottle of 12yo while you can. Avoid this as it is not a good starting point and may send you running for the bourbon and coke...

A very smooth and easy drinking Scotch. I thoroughly enjoy it.

Smooth and does not burn . I like it neat, very relaxing
