Got a bottle of this for my birthday and after having had some of the other GoT whiskys previously I was excited to see what this one would bring. On opening of the bottle the immediate smell of fruit, almost like a sweet moscato type of smell is readily apparent and for me, is a fair indication of the overall taste profile. Very, very smooth in the mouth with little to no burn provided you don't let it hang too long, with flavours of sweet hay, honey and wheat being present but quite subtle. Easy swallow with a bit of a fiery kick mid chest which then open up to a beautiful lingering and slowly developing taste and smell of the sweet fruit which the original nose promised. Being a delicate scotch it may not be to everyone's taste but I really, really enjoyed it would caution others to be aware of just how pleasantly drinkable this scotch is as you'll soon be wondering where your dram went and why the bottle is half empty.
