I have to say my real value for money is 5 out of 5 as I was given a bottle for a big mistake by Dan's. So zero cost to me, very nice tasting wine (after some airing) makes for 5/5 value for money. Otherwise I think 3/5 for the selling price. Maybe others had higher expectations, for me I expected little from what I read and was surprised...pleasantly.

Got excited when I found this "Buy one get one free" at my local Dan's. Have been a fan of Gemtree Shiraz before - especially the Dragons Blood Shiraz. The Cab Sav however is nothing like the quality of the Shiraz. Rough straight out of the bottle with minimal improvement as it airs. I left half in the bottle with the cap on, went back the next day and found it undrinkable - I wouldn't even cook with it!
