Having recently switched to Pale Ales and often enjoying a James Squire 150 lashes, I’ve found this to be a refreshing and enjoyable alternative. Would highly recommend.

This is a very nice and well priced pale ale that has become a bit of a staple for me. However, like many of the other reviewers, IMO the Cricketers Arms Spearhead would be my preference - it's a better beer, even though there's only 330ml/can. I note that the volume of alcohol is the same in both beers so I hope the Cricketers is not just watered-down Spearhead! Bring back the Spearhead Pale Ale :)

A good quality pale ale, and sensational value when on the Dan’s member special.

A nice summer pale, better for a casual beer than a tasting.

Aroma good on opening..initial mouth ok but suffered from a nothing much finish...good value for money

Bought a 10 pack and my mates and I found it bland and not worth the price.
