I am a single malter but enjoy the occasional Chivas. Thoroughly enjoy them but have purchased this as a gift & have not enjoyed a drop as yet

After watching Outlander with the missus i decided it was time to try a scotch…because why not? Nice hint of vanilla and for my first “wee dram” of scotch it was actually really nice just on the rocks. Would recommend and has got me into drinking scotch. Quality lad!

The wine is good, the concentration is not too harsh

Smooth and easy drinking possible a bit to smooth for my tastes but I can definitely see a lot of people liking this one . It tastes a little young for 15 years and is a little thin if it was a bit more oily it would be a very decent drop. Fruity up front with a touch of honey maybe a little smoke and wood in the middle finishes a little raw alcohol and slightly bitter but still remains smooth

It's easy to drink and there is a nice hint of cognac in the trail. I like a more bold flavour and complexity in a whisky, but I guess that's not the chivas style. It's a step up from the regular chivas and is good value if you're into that, but I wouldn't buy again.

I used to be fan of the Chivas 18yo until I tried this. I prefer it with ice and a very small splash of water. It turns a wonderful whiskey into ambrosia. One of the best whiskeys around, certainly for less than $100, and probably the best value for money. It’s the whiskey I never run out of.
