This is a blend, so both malt & grain whiskies are used. Equally, this is a style designed to be enjoyed without prejudice or too much 'uniqueness', such as you see in malts from Islay, or matured in specific typrs of casks. And this succeeds. It is light & fresh - grass, oat grains, whiffs of caramel/toffee - tho' no labelling indicatiin on the packaging to suggest caramel has been used for colour (something a number of malts can't claim), a reasonably smooth palate (tho' ypu can get a bit of alcohol impact if you hold the spirit in your mouth for a few seconds). All up, a very good alternative to singles like Glenfiddich, Glenlivet etc, and at a very competetive price these days. This has become one of my go to whiskies for day to day drinking because it offers value for money - something harder to find as the twice a year excise increases bite more & more

im not a Blended Scotch guy nor a whisky connoisseur, but i really enjoyed it and so did my friends. I will definitely buy again in the future. id even say this is better than any JWs ive tried. very gentle on the on wallet, too.very smooth and easy to drink. will also mention the box and bottle are very well presented. it looks expensive but budget-friendly.

A wonderful blend of 15 year old malt & grain whiskies. Too nice to mix, add ice to nor more than a few drops of water ("to release the volatiles")! Has been great value but, like everything, the price has gone up but it won't stop me drinking it.

Robbery is the primary word; how does one write a positive & or a negative comment, when your "Dan Murphy's" prices are through the roof. We the whiskey drinkers-are not going to afford any brand of drinks from your stores. As in petrol, prices are ridiculous to say the least. My family & friends are certainly looking at abstaining from purchasing any alcohol, period. We as older folk who depend on the pension, cannot afford this luxury anymore.
