The majority of these reviews would be for the Santisima Trinidad 15yr old rum. It has been sneakily been replaced by the Reserva Exclusive blended (Solera) rum for the same price. Are we getting the wool pulled over our eyes?…check the labels out and look out for the red 15. I haven’t tried the reserva version yet.

Look it is relatively smooth and does have fairly complex flavor notes, but even when on special its not really that worth it. It has too much of a mollasse/turpentine flavor. I went in looking for Matusalem Gran Reserva and settled on this, but won't buy this again.

I'm a fan of Cuban rum, so bought this when it was on special to try. Zero regrets. It's smooth when neat or on ice, and to me, the flavour reminds me of my grandmother's plum pudding (she was rather liberal with the rum). Plum and spice velvet. When on special is great value, when not it's still worth it.
