I was debating whether this deserved a four or five star review and why. On price, and if I had to buy it now, Id give it a 4. But I bought mine years ago cheaply so 5. The four I would give it now is based on todays pricing. There are better ones out there in the low twenties. In terms of varietal character, and flavour, it's a 5. A different texture and flavour compared to the Barossans and the Maccas, it sits in between. Lovely fruit, hints of pepper, and classic Wynns treatment of their wines. Not overly wooded, just about right. Its an eight year old, tastes like an 'old' four, with the fruit settling nicely. I really liked this fruit shiraz. One that I have enjoyed before dinner and drank most of it.

You can expect a lot of complexity and depth from this wine. It was an excellent reccomandation form the guys at the shop.
