I have been drinking rieslings for many years. While some of my favourites come from the Gt Southern Region of WA this Clare Valley riesling is fresh and has a very balanced mineral acidity. It will not disappoint those who like this grape variety!

Very enjoyable wine with no apparent flaws detected by my palate or by my wife who is harder to please! At its price point it's hard to go past in a very competitive market.

Fine regional & varietal integrity, with palate weight you expect at the $20 mark. There is also fine acid & minerality, so it will cellar well. I went back for a 2nd case for 10 years time.

One of the best Rieslings under this label & at $14.00 a bottle it’s very hard to find a more impressive Riesling. A refreshing squeeze of lime/lemon combined with a very pure focused structure & cleansing acidity on the finish. It was a heavenly match with last night’s fish dinner, pan fried Flathead tails & Greek salad. A fantastic young wine at present but for those who enjoy aged Riesling it’s also got the numbers to suggest it will be very long lived. The 2016 has a chemical composition of Alc/vol 12.3%, Total Acid 8.05g/L, pH 2.9, stored & cellar-ed correctly possibly up to 20 years. I’ve been drinking Taylors wines since the early 80’s & at times have been amazed how well their wines (white & reds) develop with age. Thank you, Taylors for releasing quality wines with the ability to age at very affordable prices.

This is the best white wine I have found so far. It has a sharp acid finish and a clear clean palate.

The Estate whites are very reliable, and when I just want a good Friday evening, BBQ, fish, chicken or takeaway accompaniment, this is it. When on the $12.90 DM special the value is just outstanding. Good body and a lovely lingering, but clean, finish.
