Was a pretty underwhelming IPA. Lacking in an upfront hoppy nose, and nothing much more than a slightly robust ale. Drinkable but not what I choose an IPA for

Whilst trying to find a good PA in a can ( as Stubbies are annoying when off road), tried this beer. I must be missing something. The sink got the rest. Plenty of other PA's and IPA's around in cans now.

Great tasting beer. As soon as I cracked open the can and poured it into a glass I new i was going to enjoy every drop.

Hands down the best IPA you'll find in Dan Murphy's. Poor it in a glass, and smell the tropical fruits like Passionfruit and Pineapple. Smells Amazing. The taste follows the smell with the tropical flavours, and then has a nice bitter backbone. It's not overly bitter like a lot of IPA's. I'd recommend this one to someone trying an IPA for the first time.

Lovers of lagers and Mexicans needing a slice of lemon shoved down the neck of the bottle to give flavour might be challenged by this one. Don't be put off by the fairly plain artwork and aluminium can. Brew Dog's best work lies within. And as we all know, good beer is always drunk from a fine glass, allowing the aroma, colour, head and efervescence to be fully appreciated. Unlike traditional IPA's that bunged in a heap of hops to keep the beer from going off on the long voyage to the Colonies, this one uses a wide palete of New World varieties to give a fantastic aromatic and zesty character without overwhelming bitterness. Its complexity would have a wine critic trawling the dictionary for complimentary adjectives. Hard to find on the shelf. Do go to the effort of asking the staff to find some in the stock room.

Like most, this was the beer that changed the beer I drink. And having beers in cans, particulalry in Australia is the way of the future. Anyone who puts their beer in green or clear bottles runs a huge risk of the beer getting skunked due to UV light and thats generally why you have to throw a piece of fruit in them. This beer doesn't need that. It is awesome.
