Nickname , Great Southern

Very smooth and quaffable. No length unfortunately but still a very enjoyable drink unlike most shiraz under $30 these days. At $33 I would say it is slightly overpriced. More like $25 tops.

I tend to stick to the Cabernet Sauvignon, especially when buy wines from the Coonawarra region. But decide to buy the Shiraz as that is my wife's preference. I would definitely recommend the Shiraz. It also helps that my favourite winery is Parkers.

This Terra Rossa Shiraz from the Parker Estate winery is bound to hit the spot. It hovers on the richer side of the spectrum, with dark forest berries and subtle notes of mocha and spicy oak to round things off to perfection.
