This is one of the best beers to come out of Mexico. Light crisp and easy drinking!

It is easy to drink with an easy soft pallet that is not over bearing. It is a drink that I am able to drink repetitively and easily.

Started drinking TECATE when living in California, and ... only paused when I can't get it where I am at the moment. Good drinking beer for summer and winter, with any food.

As others have pointed out this is a smooth lager with little to excite the tastebuds. Nothing really "wrong" with it, especially if you are the kind of drinker who enjoys Aussie style easy quaffing lagers like West End Draught, VB or perhaps Tooheys or XXXX. Slides on down after a long day at work. The chiller at Dan's was set to flat out plus one and that's how a beer like this should be IMHO. Value at ten bucks on the members spesh. Yeeaahhh....thumbs up.
