Many good reviews, so I wanted to try, but disappointed. Very fine bead, but dissipated very quickly in the glass. Not much depth. Not as good as entry level champagne. It's an ok sparkling wine, but not remarkable. Overrated.

Pirie Non Vintage Northern Tasmania is widely recognised for the quality of sparkling wine produced in the true cool climate of 41-42°S. The first Pirie Sparkling (1995 Vintage) did much to establish this reputation. Today the story continues with Pirie Non Vintage, a full flavoured Cuvee from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, boasting complexity from base wines produced in the unique sparkling terroirs of the region.
