I picked up a 6 pack of these when travelling around Geelong, as they are made in the area. The Ale on opening had a nice floral aroma. I like to pour my beer into a glass to see the colour, head and carbonation and it was good in all departments. The taste which is the most important character was impressive. It was slightly sweet, with a fruity hop character, but well balanced. The Ale is like a pale ale, but it has that something extra that appealed to my palette. The Malt was noticeable, but it was not a heavy beer, it drank well and I will certainly go back for more when I see it in the shops.

The Southern Bay Brewers have got this one right. What a fantastic Ale. The beer is crisp and has fruity notes with just the right amount of bitterness. A well balanced beer that compliments the eating of seafood. Keep up the good work Southern Bay you have won me.
