I was so excited to discover this lovely concoction just before Christmas 2014. A wonderful addition to our Christmas parties, and perfect accompaniment to Christmas afternoon tea (also when wrapping presents, but I won't tell if you don't!)... hope to see it back next year.

Before trying this Gingerbread Kahlua, I have drank about 3 bottles of original Kahlua, delicious stuff. This I was excited to get home to try but...I was disappointed. Having made a batch of fresh Gingerbread cookies days before, I knew what goes into them and what they should taste like. Gingerbread Kahlua was too sweet, no spices (ginger, nutmeg) and I couldn't taste a hint of coffee. Its a nice gift idea, but doesn't deliver when it comes to taste.It was just too sweet, like a sugar syrup. So I'd suggest you stick with the original for the best tasting coffee liqueur, or take the plunge and try this for yourself, there isnt much to lose for under $20
