I would recommend this to a friend!
It is sweet umeshyu (plum wine) . If you like sweet wine , it is ok. Normally plum wine is sweet in Japan. And if people are not good at sake and other strong alcohol, people prefer drink plum wine and other sweet kind of alcohol in Japan. You can drink with ice or mix with Soda (1/3 wine ,2/3 Soda ) I think people more likely use this plum wine as aperitif in Australia . It is really sweet. We normally make own plum Wine (氷砂糖1kg and same amount of plum1kg and 1.8L white liquor) .if people prefer not sweet, less ice sugar and make it. Choya ume shyu is more sweeter than expensive one or home made type. But good for not strong alcohol people. If you likes strong not sweet one, please do not chose this plum wine. It is not your type.
