I would recommend this to a friend!
I bought a 2024 one, hopefully I can taste the special flavor of mixed berries and barrel, however as I thought before, all the red wines from Chateau Tanunda will be very good and much better if you keep it for ten years, at least for this one: because it is very new, it is actually a little bit too sour and bitter, thus not ideal for first time tasting or if you looks for sth easy to drink. But if you are a collector or experienced tasters, I will certainly recommend it and add it to your collection list, as I said, all the wine of Chateau Tanunda will be fantastic if you keep it ten years.

Dahlitz Merlot is from a single vineyard at the heart of the Barossa Valley. The grapes are grown by former Barossa Vigneron of the Year, Sam Dahlitz and undergo twice daily band-plunging of the cap and pump overs prior to careful basket-pressing to craft a full-bodied wine with juicy blueberry, plum and a hint of chocolate flavours. The extensive finish is framed by elegant, fine-grained tannins from 24
months maturation in French oak barrels.
