Didn't really enjoy this at all. After reading the other reviews maybe I had a dud bottle of the 2020. There are certainly many better wines available at this price point.

You can hardly go wrong with SA Shiraz and this one was not a disappointment. Strong but not too strong full of flavour. As a vegetarian I will recommend having it with a well spiced dish like Indian or Italian.

I've enjoyed previous vintages of this wine over the last 8 years or so. I used to be a member and frequent customer of their wine club. Never been disappointed until now. Less vibrant and intense than previous vintages. Still medium bodied and savoury. Opens up a bit after a couple of hours but not to the extent I would expect. Maybe this is just a dud bottle. I've got one more in the cellar that I'll try in a few weeks. But based on what I'm tasting now I wouldn't recommend this wine.

Everyone I've recommended this wine to has loved it. It's become one of my favourites and I would have no hesitation in assuring people who don't normally drink red wine of its quality. Those who have tried it love it.

The 2019 version is one of the better reds I've had in a while - thank goodness.
