I love tequila so rum really needs to try hard to get my attention and Enejo 3 does it ith ease. If you have a lazy $50 to spend this white rum is where you need to use it! Drink it neat or in a highball with mint, sugar and ice, and you will be entrnaly greatfull for taking the adventure. I would think the arrival of summer will improve the satisfaction 10 fold. Don't walk past it.

Having learned to mix the perfect mojito in Havana some 20 years ago, my go-to rum was always the Havana Club Añejo Blanco. As this is no longer available in Australia, the next best rum for mojito is this Añejo 3 Años - slightly higher alcohol content (40% compared to 37.5%) and some yellow colouring (compared to the crystal-clear Blanco). Compared to other white rums, this is still the best option for mojito cocktails, though the yellow tinge does put me off a little (hence the 4 stars). If you're going to mix a Cuban mojito, stick to a genuine Cuban white rum, and currently this is the best one available in Australia.
