All Jacob's Creek products are very good value for money. Consistent and reliable quality over vintages.

W . ell balanced and with flavour. Not the body of a more expensive but a good drop with a pizza.

An excellent red wine, suitably priced and very enjoyable. Not a heavy big red. Drinkable all year round. And sine they sell more than 2.5million cases annually, there are obviously other people who surely agree.

.. and for what you pay you get a perfectly acceptable little budget-buster. Really .. at this price it just needs to be drinkable .. something with which to follow up some really stellar pre-dinner cocktails, after which a bottle of even mid-range premium wine is just lost on your palate. Whilst I would keep it to myself (not something to offer guests - unless they're there every night) it has a respectable role in the budget-conscious connoisseur's bar (probably not worthy of the cellar) there is nothing 'off' about it and there is even some balanced complexity if you look hard enough. Just don't even think of giving it a starring role in any context and it will perform perfectly acceptably .. and at the price, not much else does!

Have previously enjoyed jacob's creeks wines, however this one is better used in lieu of vinegar on fish & chips

Captures the flavour of a chandlery or boat shop perfectly, if that's what you are looking for. The essence of the chemicals associated with such an establishment are present in abundance in the flavour of this wine. (part gelcoat polymer, part chemical toilet blue liquid as used on boats) It's earthy, too.
