I'll leave this for people to discover. But exactly how the bottle describes it. Dark fruits of cherry, plum jam, dark berries, vanilla and spices. Touch of woods. A highly smooth, luscious and absolutely delicious Zinfandel. Perfect for the cold winter nights. If you find a deal on this one. Stock up.

As an ex-pat Northern Californian I really miss my Sonoma County Zinfandels. This one is a solid example, much richer than the Kendall-Jackson. Bright red fruitiness and toasty oak. Big and bold but still classy. Zin is such a unique experience. Definitely worth a try

This Zinfandel has great flavor. I'd love to be able to buy more such wines, but for some reason you can't find much in the way of California wines in Australia. (You can find a lot of Australian wine in California!)

It is definitely worth the special price. Complex flavours but not "supple and smooth" like another review I read. I wouldn't pay full price for this wine. It is a higher than average alcohol content which is an added bonus.
