I love Vermentino white wines. And when this became available at Dan's I didn't hesitate. Well my my for the price I was not expecting a wine as good as this. Punches well above its weight. Just a juicy clean crisp white & somewhat "salty or mineraly" Vermentino. Fantastic with prawns or oysters. I was amazed to read the negative reviews here but also noticed they are now some years old with the newer reviews being far more positive. It is now my go to White wine and everyone I have served it too has enjoyed it. Great value wine. Get it while you still can. Better still grab a carton.

Bottle had oxidised. I took the bottle into DM's and the friendly people there refunded me. I wouldn't recommend.

Aged, yellow, oxidised phenolics, just nasty. Had the 2017 and this is way past its prime. The Lulu vermentino is way better and cheaper too.

Light bodied wine with an unusual texture. Tried it in Italy now can’t get enough of it. Local wine producers should embrace it. It’s a winner all round with both genders.

I normally drink Pinot Grigio but thought I’d try a Vermentino on a wine makers recommendation - delicious. Light, tasty with just a touch of clear fruitiness - all for a good price

I'd like to think I have a reasonably broad wine palate and in particular enjoy crisp dry whites. That said, this version of Vermentino holds no appeal. There is a strong mineral quality to the wine overlain with a pungent phenolic tone only slightly off-set with faint floral notes. It was reminiscent of retsina but lacked the resinous subtlety of this style of wine. Couldn't finish the glass let alone the bottle; disappointing.
