Ahh Lowenbrau the magnum opus of German beer. Please bring it back it was my favourite beer, so many reviews on here asking for it. I can’t believe it’s been almost 5 years now.

The COVID lockdowns are 3 years past - it's time to get back on track with your stock. Bring back this beer please.

Dunno why all the big stores stopped importing them. The best beer in my opinion. Especially in crisis times like these when Asia Pacific now gets Corona brewed in China and Heineken being brewed here, there has never been a better time to bring back this gem of a beer imported from Germany!!

The Bavarians have been producing this thoroughly reliable silky-soft treasure for a very long time. Obviously, as one of the world's best selling beers, they have the formula just right - perfect for the firstie when thirsty after a hot and long day, it just slides unassisted down one's throat, leaving a grateful smile. No lightweight (about 4.9%) the pliable texture and yeasty flavour belies the full-strength without ever feeling heavy in taste or effect. My wife, traditionally a notorious non-beer drinker, has "Lion's Beer" as her go-to for hot days as a grateful reward at the end of the day. I like the Lowenbrau for an additional reason: it's the ideal opener to tackle a heavier brew when set for a session. Now that The World Cup is on, how perfect is that? Go Socceroos!!

Soft textured body (but not lacking in alcohol strength), creamy, malty and so perfect for that first beer of the day. Life would be a tad more rewarding if Uncle Dan would restock this classic German beer. If I was to introduce someone new to beer, especially ladies keen to taste the charm of the mythical malted magic, I would not hesitate in choosing Lowenbrau Original.
