My preferred whisky during cold, winter months. I normally have it straight to enjoy the aroma. A lot smoother compared to cheaper whiskies since it doesn't grab you by the throat right away. Great value vs more expensive Japanese whiskies. Burbony scent with vanilla and plum hints. Sweet on the palate, kind of reminds me of rum like Ron Zacapa. My drink of choice - I always keep two bottles in the cupboards.

Sweet and complex, beautiful grain whiskey. Tad pricey and hardly ever in stock (I blame it's limited production and popularity).

My partner and I are slowly getting into whiskeys... this one drew our attention. Sadly, it's definitely NOT a beginners whiskey. First nose is like inhaling paint stripper, and it takes a long time to prise out the molasses and honey scents. The taste takes even longer to calm down... a splash of water really helps. We much prefer our Glen Grant.

Really rich and delicious whisky. Smells divine. Good maltyness, and a fruity bend to it. Tiny bit sharp on the finish but a delightful whisky overall.

This is an absolute gem - it and it's sister whisky the Coffey malt: oooh la la! Google up "coffey still" if you're curious about the name. It is a smooth criminal and a half. One problem - you can drink it so fast if you don't moderate yourself haha! So maybe get your partner to hide it from you
