I am a massive fan of Nikka - started my journey with the 'from the barrel's & sitting high at the 'peaty salty' table. Bought a bottle of this in Japan in 2018, still sits with me now as it tastes super 'fruity' from the pal cask. I am unsure if the bottle differ much due to cash, but mine tastes far too immature and raw. Firey on the finish and tastes like a subtle Kujira virgin oak dram. My least favourite from my favourite Japanese whisky brand.

This is a signature grain whisky which was released in 2012. Predominantly made from corn, whisky distilled in a Coffey still is matured in old casks such as re-filled, remade and re-charred casks originally made from American oak to deliver the sweet and mellow flavors of Coffey distillates.
