Beautiful taste for winter nights when you still want a cold beer to warm you up.

Chocolately brown gold !! Seriously magnificent flavour and texture

I don't understand why most Australians prefer light mass produced "Beers/Lagers" when the dark beers such as Wilsons Lost Sailor have so much flavour. I tried it first at their Brewery in Albany a couple of years ago and am hooked. Sure it is more expensive than the light stuff but a much better beer. Wilsons, If you want to send me a few samnples, I would gladly accept.

I have purchased this a number of times while visiting my son in Albany, WA. I tried it after I read in the local paper that this small brewery in Albany won first prize in Australia wide competition for the Best Dale Ale. I know why it one first prize because its the best Dark Ale I have ever taste. Thats fifty five years of drinking dark ale!!!!!. Last time I was in Albany I brought back a few cans for some friends in Sydney who also loved this well made and balanced dark ale. I am going to order some from Albany and pay the freight because it well worth the money. Come on Dan Murphy make this available in Sydney.

This is the first dark ale I have ever liked & I absolutely love it. It's a bit lighter than the 'usual' darker beers and I swear I could taste chocolate. Excellent value & a really fresh, delicious brew!
