Had been looking for a nice Chardonnay and tried this one. Thrilled with my choice……not too fruity, not too oaky…….just a nice tasting Chardonnay and very good value for money. I never thought that I’d be drinking French Chardonnay, but I am, and loving it!!

This Chardonnay has the right amount of oak for my palette. On my first tasting I was pleasantly surprised on the balance of the oak. French produced Chardonnay in my experience are light on with their Chardonnay’s. Have made this brand one of my favourites

Easy to drink. Whilst young, it’s a buttery, toasty, caramel, true oak taste, with a fabulous price point. Buy a bottle and then you’ll buy more. Very enjoyable.

Finally a wine that has a decent amount of oak but is not too tannic or astringent and has plenty of fruit to boot. This is a well balanced, complex wine for lovers of full bodied Chardonnays and is great value for money. My new favourite!

Maison de la Villette is a surprise box, the wine is spontaneous, it hits you with a conglomerate of tastes, all very agreeable. It is filled with different tastes, but not too strongly presented, just very pleasant. Its a good wine, worth recommending. ..Giantkiller.
