Can’t go wrong with this, light fruity & very enjoyable

Reviewing the 2020 vintage. For a $10 bottle of wine, this slaps. It's well-balanced, has that beautiful grenache red fruit and characteristic raspberry on the nose. And unlike some grenache it drinks pretty well straight out of the bottle without needing a tonne of time to breathe (although it does still get better with a little time). Light enough to go down easy, with gently grippy tannins, and enough backbone to stop it from being flimsy. I really can't fault it, and would have been happy had I paid twice as much for it.

For the price this Borsao grenache is ok - a teensy bit rough around the edges, but essentially a simple and easy drinking medium weight red. Nothing really wrong with it! But I have rated it poorly and would not recommend solely because Dans has another Borsao grenache that is much better. Spend the extra $2 and grab the Borsao seleccion Garnacha instead.... :)

Oh how I love my Grenache. And the price on this is fantastic for the quality you get. I’ve enjoyed this with and without food, but if you really want to impress serve alongside a chocolate dessert. You’ll thank me later.
