I'm normally a wine lover of nice premium reds that are usually on special, for under $20, as you do. Was at a birthday dinner recently at a 4 star local restaurant where the table ordered a red for $58 a bottle, I had a sip of this red and first impressions count, oh yum. Others may give you the usual wine connoisseur's diatribe but lets just say to me it was love at first sip. Had a medium rare Black Angus porterhouse steak with a glass of this delicious red and frankly I have no words to describe the sheer joy I felt at that dinner table. Grab a bottle and indulge.

The wine was quite linear, good tannin, good oak. The fruit was there but didnt dominate. There was a lovely, but faint mocha character that I enjoyed. It would have been interesting to drink the wine over a couple of days to see how it opened up. Enjoyable wine.
