Not fruity, not bitter, plenty of flavour and drinkable bottle after bottle. Not too gassy as to cause reflux mid-six pack. This is my go to beer. Never fails to disappoint. Summer or winter this is the beer for me. It’s great out of a stubbie or on tap at the local.

Used to be a favourite. Bought a carton 12mths ago, was certain they'd bottled something else from the line in the 150 lashes stubbies. Thought I'd give it another try tonight. Same result. Something has definitely changed in their process. Tastes nothing like the older version. What's going on James Squire? Not a fan at all of this version. I can't be the only one who's noticed.

Never tried this before but really enjoyed the fruity notes, I could definitely taste the passionfruit but was not overwhelming.

what happened to the creamy taste from 14yrs back? not sure what's what now with James Squire but this beer tasted like perfume which was horrible

Have tried a few pale ale out there but I seem to come back to this one. It's my go to and probably the better tasting pale ale.

This is the best full flavoured and sweet tasting pale ale. I am quite fussy with beer and really only prefer this over so many other premium world wide beers. Ticks all the boxes.
