A great alternative to gaseous PAs and mid strength beers. Very easy to drink, with no hard belching.

I discovered this little drop quite by accident when visiting the Gold Coast last month (from WA). I have been drinking it ever since and have not been disappointed at all. I appreciate that it is not to everyone's liking but it hits the spot for me. Unfortunately, the cost makes it a little prohibitive, so, make sure you do not waste a drop.

While I can see how some other reviewers felt that there wasn't anything special going on here, I think it's the simplicity of this beer that is what makes it enjoyable. If you're new to this style, or have your beer-drinking roots firmly planted in IPA's/PA's then this is good for those who aren't big fans of anything with 'bitters' in the title. I can't say there was any real citrus aroma as per the description, and there isn't anything overwhelming or offense about the taste profile either. Also the name is pretty hilarious, c'mon that's what drew most of us in surely.

Ignore the first reviewer - this stuff is the bomb, deep flavour profile, but subtle, not over the top like a lot of craft beers. I.E. You can session this beer, even though it's an English bitter, just chill it down. Food match, so versatile, goes with everything and anything. A bit pricey yeah - but great value.

Last minute choice as label makes it look cheap, as if made by a 16 year old. Opened the bottle and poured and had a smell. Such a great aroma. Sat down with a smile on my face hoping I had found a great brew only to be let down so badly. there was absolutely no flavour to be had, it was such a disappointment. No spike on the tongue, no draft of flavour through the throat, no aftertaste. Just empty nothingness. A total waste of cash. Need to trust my instincts more before handing over my wallet.

Nothing special going on here Yeah, she can be at times! A good beer, bitter but not over the top, but you have to drink it ice cold Bitter dark ale with an excellent long after-taste This stuff is surprisingly good, given the other tripe dished up by this brewery
