This was a delicious easy to drink wine. Light and crispy, a little fruity. Great chilled by it self or with a little casis for a Kir.

I enjoy this wine with most dishes....not citrussy at all, ie mellow and perhaps verging on slightly sweet. Certainly a superior wine than same priced aussie sauv blancs.

Typical of the traditional French Sauv Blanc grape, essentially smooth to drink with little additional non- essential additives. Beside Sancerre, a favourite so called dry white wine wine by European standards.Regretably, and fortunately for New Zealand, France has yet to embrace the clean and crisp gooseberry Sauv Blanc from Marlborough..
