This was a nice beer but just purchased a carton with the bottled around Australia labels and its undrinkable. I managed one and half stubbies before pouring the rest down the drain. I expected a small change when they stopped making it locally but its not even a poor imitation. Hopefully the store will refund me for what is left because its not even passable as beer, let alone Boags Premium. Thanks for 30 years of a great beer but I wont be back.

Easily the best beer in Australia. Fresh and flavoursome made with the cleanest water.

I’ve enjoyed James Boag beer for a few years now. Always that classic quality and taste. Not sure what’ll happen now that they’re closing the Tasmanian factory down though ??

Classic and refreshing! If not the best, it’s one of the best beer brands in Australia!

Boags beer brewed in Tasmania is simply the best .

Since more than 20 years I did enjoy James Boags Premium. Unfortunately that incredible taste got lost years ago when the alcohol content was reduced to 4.6 procent. Is still one of the best beers avaliable with its 375ml content - a smooth drink.
