Given+some+of+the+reds+St+Hugo+produce+was+looking+forward+to+this+wine+but+have+had+cheaper+Riesling+that+were+a+lot+better++

I purchased this wine on the strength of publishes reviews. Unfortunately I found the wine to be almost metallic on the palate and lacking fresh and juicy flavours on the palate. I think as a young wine it would have been as per the reviews, but with a little bit of bottle age it is either going through an ugly phase or is not developing as had been expected.
