The citrus flavours complement the shallow hop. Goes down easy & sits fine in the gut. Easy light drinking beer for summer or the tropics.

More than just very agreeable and now my favorite after 55 years of beer drinking experience. A lot more could enjoy it if the product was made available for 10% less.

Fruity. Low bitterness. One of the best value for money options available.

Easy drinking,fruity beer.Certainly no Stone and Wood but a cheaper alternate Pacific Ale. Not too complex and goes great with most things that you would eat all day in the warm Qld summer. Better value in the 375ml cans than the smaller bottles too. Not actually beer related and just my opinion but very disappointed in Matilda Bay/CUB with the old style plastic "Turtle Strangler" 6 pack holders on the cans. Not very environmentally friendly and there is many better options these days.

Recently tried this for first time because the cans are 375 ml (not 345 ml, or at least they were in Cairns last week). Was this a mistake by the brewer? I am already a fan of draught Fat Yak & would buy it in bottles or cans if the size was larger than the current 345 ml (bottles)/ 330 ml (cans). On principle I refuse to buy beer in containers smaller than 375 ml! Wild Yak, though having an enticing smell, in my opinion, is weaker in taste than Fat Yak. It's also weaker in alcohol, but that is not necessarily relevant to flavour.
