Delicious. Crisp and dry, yet lots of fruit and a nice smooth finish. I'm baffled at some of the poor reviews for this wine. Definitely Euro-style with characteristics of a youthful French sauvignon blanc or muscadet. I worked in London's oldest wine shop for a couple of years and this would have gone down well with seasoned palates. Would be great with seafood, pesto spaghetti, cheese and salad. I have bought a case 👍

Read the reviews, but figured I'd give it a chance. The reviews warned me, but nothing could have prepared me for the strong dislike I had for the taste which just would not go away. I've reviewed a few wines and I say, save your money and choose something else.

For some, wine should be what they expect; this one isn’t! Pay no attention to reviews that criticise this for not being this or that - take a chance and give it a shot. You may not like it...but is that because it’s not a good wine, or is it just that surprise isn’t part of your wine experience?

And interesting drinking experience. Unable to pick any variety flavors and on reading blend is understandable. Finishing bottle on second day was a different drinking experience.

Since my absolute favourite wine was somewhere in transit and not available the tag line on this bottle, “like Pinot Gris? Play the field!” combined with a Dan’s special, drew me in. Alas it was nothing like a Pinot Gris, with an overripe palate and a lingering bitter aftertaste that suggested some of the field nettles may have snuck into the blend. Unpleasant to drink from first mouthful to last. I think I’ll leave playing the field to someone else.
