Full Bodied, Bright and vibrant in colour, great value for money. Intene fruit flavours.

2021 vintage. The 21's from SA continue to live up to the hype, this is a wonderful full bodied rich cabernet. Probably at it's best in 5-6 years time, drinking very well now. Heavy Buy. 5 stars

From the first taste my immediate thought was "smooth" and such a pleasant wine. Totally enjoyable and would please any guests.

This excellent wine has a woody blackberry aroma, and is oaky and complex with flavours of plum, spice and licorice. It has a smooth tannony finish and would be great with a roast or hard cheese board.

This bottle arrived yesterday as part of a special mixed six pack. Lamb rib roast for dinner, WOW, what a pair. This wine is a beautiful integration of fruit, robust tannin and wood, perhaps a little in the older style, but that suits me. Like many others in years gone by I followed the idea that Cab Sauv was the King of reds, but then it lessened in my esteem when the ones that I drank were somewhat ordinary. Poor choices by me or a sad trend, I do not know. This bottle drags me back to having a high respect for this variety. Will try more, perhaps a touch above my usual buying point. It may have a few years still in it but I believe that it is now at its peak drinking. Squeeze the bottle to get the last drop from it.
