Somewhat different to the Malbecs of Argentina that I have tried having less body, although flavoursome nonetheless. Worth trying for something different and good value.

My first Cahors Malbec after trying so many Argentinian ones and i like how a variety can give different flavours on where it is grown while the Argentinian Malbecs are more ripe and fruit diven while the French Malbecs are more bitter and acidic which works better with food this is a good wine but it is better with a nice roast dinner which helps balance the flavours.
