I am enjoying this refreshing wine. I was looking for a change from the Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs and this one fits the bill nicely.

Very reasonably priced, fresh, fruity & medium bodied. Very low acidity, tannins, not too sweet & definately not dry. Very easy to drink with any foods at dinner or even lunch.

this is a stunning wine with the fruitiness of the Pinot Grigio mellowed by the complexity of the unusual Arneis grape - originating from the Italian Piedmont. I am not often a fan of De Bortoli but on this occasion they have really delivered... Very good with Asian fusion dishes, or just a quick quaff while watching a British crime series...

I've a lot of time for De Bortoli so I was more than prepared to experiment the blending of a pinot grigio with a grape I'd never heard of (Arenies). I prefer this blend to the (relatively) few pinot grigio's I've tasted. For a wine between $15 and $20 I think it's great value for money. The winemaker may be able to get more body/depth from the next vintage (but the price might go up too!).
