My partner is Czech, so good beer is basically a cultural expectation in our house. (For anyone who doesn't know: the original Budweiser is actually Czech Budvar. The Americans later copied the name and recipe… so Czech beer really is the gold standard!)
This Burleigh x Czech Mates collab is such a brilliant idea. We love supporting local microbrewers and would always prefer to back the little guys over a massive multinational.
And honestly? It tastes so good. Crisp, clean, proper Czech-style lager done beautifully on the Gold Coast. Will be buying again and again! 🍻
