Was happy to receive this product for my honest review. Love whisky and also a fan of citrus so this was a no brainer drink to try. Tastes better over ice than cold. Can is a good size and not too light or flimsy. Will buy this drink again to have friends taste too. Like the mix of soda, whisky and citrus flavour noting that the citrus is a light twist in flavour and not too strong.

Ask around and it seems like everyone is going to or has been to Japan. The best part about Japan are their convenience stores serving a range of snacks, meals and ready mix drinks! Whilst I am counting down the days until my next visit, I can fill that void with Monsuta’s new range of premium highballs. I tried the Whiskey, citrus and soda which was quite refreshing with a subtle lemon aftertaste. It was very different for someone used to whisky and cola. First impressions. The can itself feels more solid and premium. The drink itself feels light compared to other drinks . You can definitely taste the soda blended with the citrus. It goes down easy without too much fizz and the whisky seems to come through as an after-taste. I served over ice. Has a suitable level of alcohol to give it a nice boost, but not too overpowering. I’m a fan of citrus but a bit hesitant with whisky premixes- this definitely exceeded my expectations. Well balanced overall and especially for those that like a bit of citrus bite.
