Our coopers fired the timber to create medium-toast oak barrels to ensure this parcel of Northern Barossa Shiraz gently imparts a smokey spice complexity after barrel maturation. Aroma is Black and Red berry fruit supported by underlying smokey French and American oak, baking spice and vanilla bean. Palate is Dark, concentrated Black and Blue fruit, spice, layers of smokey oak, finishing with long and persistent savoury tannin.
