Like Durif, Temperanillo is a fantastic varietal if you want a change from Shiraz, Cab Sav, Merlot. However this is not the best example of a Temperanillo. So if you are trying this style for the first time I would go elsewhere and pay a bit more. However, having said that, this is still a nice enough quaffer but a bit too light bodied for me.

Bought this as it was well marketed online. A very bad wine with too much tannin and no taste and character. Would have ended up with something better if closed my eyes and picked a $10 bottle.

After tasting the exceptional Hogs in the Woods Pinot Noir I purchased two bottles of this. Despite having a luscious colour this wine is truly ghastly. I poured it back into the bottle never to be touched again. Such a pity, this is an excellent company making top class wines.

This Fleurieu Peninsula Tempranillo shows off with fresh berry fruit notes, but a savoury palate of herbs and spices. An excellent South Australia expression of a classic Spanish grape.
